Camping Glimpses at Triund

Setting Up Camp

As the sun began its descent, I set up my tent on a flat patch of land. The process, though tiring after the trek, was exhilarating. The anticipation of spending a night under the stars, amidst the mountains, was thrilling.

The Triund trek night view is nothing short of magical. As darkness enveloped the landscape, the sky came alive with countless stars, with the Milky Way clearly visible. The absence of city lights and pollution made the celestial show even more spectacular.

Bonfire Tales

The cold Triund temperature at night gave us the perfect excuse to light a bonfire. Fellow trekkers and I gathered around, sharing tales of our adventures, singing songs, and enjoying the warmth of the fire and the company.

I made it a point to carry all my trash back with me. The essence and beauty of Triund deserves to be preserved, and every small effort counts.

Once on the trek, there are designated camping sites where trekkers can pitch their tents. Some of these sites also provide tent rentals for those who might not have their own.

Refreshment Stalls

Along the Triund trek distance, there are a few stalls offering refreshments, basic snacks, and bottled water. It’s a relief to have these pit stops, especially when the Triund temperature starts to drop.

While basic, there are first-aid facilities available at certain points on the trek. However, it’s always advisable to carry your own first-aid kit and essential medicines.
